Provided a £400K funding package in addition to securing increased banking facilities into a £5 million turnover loss making business.

With funding in place the attentions turned to the poor performing areas within the organisation. Working alongside and providing support to the new management and operations team to resolve the issues. Confidence grew, allowing the company to pursue new opportunities both in the UK and overseas. Taking the company to a highly profitable £11 million turnover within a 3-year period.

With growing turnover and profits, the company was sold in the 4th trading year to a Canadian engineering group enabling them to capitalise on the company’s technology whilst also providing a sound platform from which to expand into Europe. Advent was retained to provide support to assist with the integration process and to explore other strategic opportunities within the sector. Since disposal, TMAT has continued in it’s success.
